Creativity is the ability to think and imagine in an untethered way — free to truly explore the entire spectrum of possibilities.
It’s a very unique skill, because we all get stuck in loops and narrow routines of thought. Creativity is the power and ability to break those.
Creative is especially helpful whenever you’re solving a difficult problem. Because no matter how difficult the problem or situation, there are always moves to be made that increase the odds of success.
Creativity gives you the ability to persist through doubt and poor solutions to find what truly works.
It’s a topic neat and dear to me, as I started my career as a self-taught designer and ultimately grew to run entire creative teams at-scale — including at Apple, Block, Empower, and ClassDojo.
